Application Overview
Purpose
- This device is used to feed components on a conveyor and inspect the parts on a pass/fail basis. This visual inspection is done using a camera. The parts are then sorted into two sections of conforming or defective products.
- Defective products are blown off the conveyor by an air nozzle located after the inspection camera.
- Workpieces are loaded manually by an operator. The operator could increase or decrease the workpiece feed as required.

- The camera and LED lighting can be adjusted independently by a single axis stage.
- Guides and rollers are provided to the charging chute to feed workpieces while they are added horizontally.
- Determine the angle to feed workpieces at which the workpieces can be fed on the conveyer one by one by trial and error.
- Check the emission of defective workpieces by blowing air works normal as intended by adjust nozzle and air pressure, through trail and error.
