Linear Motion
Linear motion parts are parts for a linear motion mechanism. Linear motion parts are widely used in various industries such as machine tools, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, etc. The linear bushing is a linear motion mechanism that uses a cylindrical shaft, and the steel balls of the cage roll while making point contact with the shaft, enabling highly accurate linear motion with minimal frictional resistance. Ball screws are devices that convert the rotation of a screw shaft into linear motion. Using a motor, etc., it is also possible to change rotary motion into linear motion and linear motion into rotary motion. Linear guides are bearings that provide smooth movement in the direction of rails, and feature low friction due to the rolling motion of steel balls. The linear guide has no propulsion, so it is used in combination with a cylinder or motor, ball screw, etc. There are also single-axis actuators and single-axis robots that integrate a ball screw, a linear guide, and a motor to reduce the number of assembly steps.
