Butterfly Valves
A butterfly valve is a valve that controls the flow rate or pressure of fluids in a pipe. This is called a "butterfly" valve due to its shape. The cylindrical main body consists of a simple structure in which a circular valve (disk) with the same diameter as the pipe can be rotated. The flow rate or pressure is adjusted by changing the angle of this disk. A feature of this product is the high flow rate adjustment functionality at an intermediate opening angle and the low resistance when the valve is fully open, which makes it easy for fluids to flow and results in low-pressure loss. Also, opening or closing is easy with a 90° turning operation, resulting in excellent operability. The end-to-end dimensions are shorter and the design is more lightweight and compact than other valves for easy installation and removal. Products are made in a variety of sizes for different applications, from small pipe diameters to large pipe diameters. These valves are used to control cold water, hot water, oil, gas or steam. They are used in a wide range of fields, including familiar mains water meters and gas meters, as well as cooling towers for air conditioning equipment, compressed air control in trains and heat supply equipment for construction machinery.
