Minimum Stroke for Auto Switch Mounting
- * The minimum stroke for mounting varies with the auto switch type and cylinder mounting type. In particular, the center trunnion type requires careful attention. (Refer to the catalog for details.)
Precautions for Use
- *Avoid applying rotational torque to the piston rod. The non-rotating guide may become deformed, compromising the accuracy. Also, when screwing the nut onto the thread of the piston rod end, ensure the piston rod is fully retracted and use a wrench flat on the part protruding from the parallel part of the rod.
At this time, be careful not to apply tightening torque to the non-rotating guide.

- * Contact the SMC support center when exchanging the rod packing. Air leaks may occur according to the position in which the rod packing is incorporated, so contact the SMC support center when exchanging the rod packing.
Do not exchange the non-rotating guide. The non-rotating guide is press-fitted, so use a cover assembly when exchanging.
