·This series is MISUMI indexing plunger (economy series), which is also called indexing pin, spring draw pin, etc.
·Indexing plunger, also called indexing pin, spring draw pin, etc., is a locating pin that can be inserted and extracted manually.
·Due to the structural characteristics and design purpose of the indexing plunger, the main part under force is the pin head, which can be subjected to shear loads and bending loads.

How to operate the reset type and self-locking type
•Reset type
1. The front end is usually protruding.
2. The front end retracts when the knob is pulled out.
3. If the knob is released, the front end will return to the protruding state through the action of the built-in spring force.
Usage Method
 
•Self-locking type
1. The front end is usually protruding.
2. The front end retracts when the knob is pulled out.
3. If the front end is rotated by 90° while maintaining the pull-out state, the retraction state of the front end can be locked.
4. To release the locked state, simply rotate 90° while maintaining the pulled-out state.
5. If the knob is released, the front end will return to the protruding state through the action of the built-in spring force.

Answer:Answer: Hello, first of all, the product itself has a certain tolerance range, allowing a certain amount of shaking. Product defect is only suspected if the shaking exceeds the indicated tolerance. Secondly, since the positioning holes and threaded mounting holes matching the indexing plunger are subject to some machining error, always pay attention when designing.
Question:Question: Why is the rod inside the indexing plunger broken/bent?
Answer:Answer: Hello, the main stress point of the indexing plunger/indexing pin is the head part of the pin, and the middle internal connecting rod and the tail knob can only be subjected to pulling force, but not to excessive radial force. Please refer to the precautions in the product information. Always move in the axial direction during the pull-out process.
