High functioning grade optimal for electronics, food and other industrial applications. Quoted from 2013 Takiron plate comprehensive catalog.[Features]· Material with low combustion calories even for plastics that does not generate poisonous halogen gases when burnt.· Possesses high strength based on Charpy impact testing that is approximately five times the initial strength of general acrylic.· Can be made thinner than conventional products depending upon the application.· Petech is self-extinguishing, as opposed to acrylics which are highly flammable.· Certified for superior flame retardance. Passed the materials combustion test for railroad cars.· Does not turn white even when cold bent. Punching of thin objects as thin as 1.5 mm possible, whereas such punching is not possible with acrylics.· Easier to form at low temperatures than acrylics when heated
