Usage Example/Method
(1) The impact energy for each pattern is calculated according to the following equations.
- Free fall E = m × g × h
- Inclined surface impact E = m × g × L × sinθ
- Horizontal impact E = 1/2 × m × V2
E: Impact energy (J)
m: Mass (kg)
h: Height (m)
L: Distance of inclined surface (m)
θ: Angle of incline
g: Gravitational acceleration (≒9.8 m/s2)
V: Velocity (m/s)
Free fall.
Inclined surface impact.
Horizontal impact.
(2) According to the number of impacts, multiply the value obtained in (1) by the following coefficients.
- Less than 1 (times/minute): 1
- 1 or more and less than 2 (times/minute): 2
- 2 or more and less than 4 (times/minute): 3
- 4 or more (times/minute): TPGBR is recommended
(3) Select the size that will fit the value obtained in (2) from the energy capacity section of the specification table.
