- Answer: An electrical box is a protective component for the safety of electrical appliances. The electric box has 2 main functions: 1) To protect the electrical circuit and electrical equipment from the operating environment, Such as preventing foreign substances such as water and dust from harming the device protection level is identified by IP (Ingress Protection) code. 2) Prevent electrical current at the circuit board leaked to the outside for the safety of operators.
- Question: How many types of electrical boxes are there?
- Answer: The industrial electrical box can be divided according to usage into 3 main types.
1) Control boxes are used to contain circuit boards and equipment that controls machines such as PLCs, relays, controllers, I/O units, etc.
2) Switch box is a box that will have a switch installed. They are typically small and suitable for use as auxiliary pendants to control the machine. In case, the operator has to control far away from the main control panel.

- Answer: To choose an electrical box, you should beware of the following factors.
1) Box size: Consider the internal area of the electrical box. They should have enough space for installing various devices. Also, have to consider including the operating space and the direction of the wiring. If we choose a box that is too small, In addition to being difficult to operate, it also results in more difficult cooling.
2) Operating environment: It will directly affect the durability and safety of use, such as for use inside or outside the building. How much dust and water is there and how much electricity it can withstand, etc. Waterproofing is also an important consideration, especially if the electric box will be exposed to moisture or other environmental hazards.
