These easy-to-use connectors feature a rotating actuator, a ZIF structure that makes it easy to insert or extract the FPC and excellent usability in a space-saving package[Features]· The original connector type, which is mounted on the surface of the circuit board, has a low profile. The connector height is 1.45 mm when mounted on the circuit board.· Mainboard drop-down types are mounted on the back of the circuit board. When a circuit board with a thickness of 0.4 mm is used, consistency with the board surface is achieved (mounting height on the back side of the circuit board is 1.0 mm).· The single-sided lower contact structure ensures that inserting the FPC backwards is safe.· The FPC insertion direction (conductor side) is the same for both original and circuit board concave types.· The zero-insertion force structure means that no direct force is applied when the FPC is inserted or extracted, making the product extremely easy to use.· The cable is held temporarily in place when the FPC is inserted. Rotating the actuator connects the internal contact and holds the FPC in place.· It is easy to insert or extract the FPC by operating the rotating actuator.· The included hold-down element prevents the connector from lifting up during soldering and strengthens retention of the connector to the circuit board.· The structure also prevents the actuator from opening due movement of the FPC.· The structure supports automatic mounting with a general-purpose mounter.
