· Screw developed for MDF and particle board that lack the elasticity of natural wood and have a soft interior, making it harder for screws to catch.
· The base diameter is much thinner than the screw outer diameter, creating a notable difference between the thread and base and a coarse pitch.
· The thin base diameter allows it to enter gently without crushing soft materials, and the threading with its large surface area allows the tapping of a wide range of female threads. In addition, on the side in the tip direction of the screw threads, the screwing torque is small because of the acute angle formed at the crests, and an excessive load is not applied to the fitting material. Conversely, the angle of the thread crests on the head side is obtuse. To grasp the fitting material strongly after tightening, the thread crest and valley difference has extremely high draw-out strength. Together with the difference between the angles of the thread crests on the head side and tip side, these characteristics have achieved an outstanding retention force and low screwing torque.
· Since the thread is tapped from the apex of the screw tip, it bites immediately into the opposite material with good workability to prevent sudden crushing of the opposite material.
· This "Particle Bit" is an optimized dedicated bit that solves the problems of "screws not working" and "falling out after tightening" that conventional screws have with MDF "particle board" (utility model registered)
