[What are couplings and shaft couplings?] A coupling is a component intended to connect two different rotating bodies (motor, ball screw, etc.) and transmit torque. It reduces the assembly adjustment load by absorbing the misalignment (eccentricity/declination/end play) that occurs between rotating bodies.
