• For this cutting condition, the number of rotational speeds, feed rate and depth of cut are listed for each work material (general steel, steel alloy, heat-treated steel, high hardness steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, etc.) based on the manufacturer's recommended conditions.
• The optimum cutting conditions vary depending on the machining environment (machine tool, tool holder, etc.), so use this product while checking the machining conditions (machining surface, chattering, etc.) and conducting calibration.

Precautions for cutting conditions

• When using AD-LS-LDS (long shank), please use it in a low feed rate.
• If the number of rotational speed does not rise sufficiently, set the speed as high as possible.
• This cutting condition standard table is for when using a water-soluble cutting oil.
• When using a water-insoluble cutting oil, reduce the cutting speed by 20%.
• For centering on curved surfaces, inclined surfaces, etc., use it in a low feed rate.
• Centering on stainless steel is not recommended. Please use TIN-NC-LDS or NC-LDS.
• For high-speed machining, the upper limit should be twice the median cutting speed above.
• For chamfering holes in stainless steel, refer to the values for low carbon steel.
