    [Features]
    · A condensing lens for use with ultraviolet lasers, consisting of a synthetic quartz lens for high transmittance over the ultraviolet band.
    · It has high light resistance, as it does not use glass or adhesive which absorbs ultraviolet light.
    · Two or three spherical lenses are combined, and both spherical aberration and coma aberration are corrected.
    · Can also be used as condensing lens for Kr* F excimer lasers (248 nm) or YAG lasers with third (355 nm) or fourth (266 nm) harmonics.
    · For lenses with an NA of 0.1 or less, laser collimated light can be roughly narrowed to the spot diameter of the diffraction limit.
    · (NA0.25 or less for ETL)
    · Separately sold protective glass can be attached to protect the objective lens from spray from laser processing.
    · * Use condensing lenses when imaging an object with infinite distance as the focus or changing the positional light source to parallel light.
    · * Sufficient optical performance cannot be obtained when used for imaging at a close distance, etc.
    · * The condensing lens has an orientation for light incidence.
    · * Be sure to have parallel light incident from the top (with the engraved stamp on the lens barrel upright).
    · * When reversed, spherical aberration may increase and the condensing spot may widen or images may be out of focus.
    · * When used outside the specified wavelength range, aberration and transmittance will worsen.
    · * The condensing lens may become very hot and the condensing lens focal distance may vary if a high-power laser is used or the product is used near a light source generating intense heat.
    · * Heat dissipation measures are required if irradiating for long periods.
    · * If a smaller spotting diameter is desired, widen the incident beam diameter (1/e^2) to approximately half of the effective diameter of the condensing lens.
    · * This condensing lens is not an achromatic lens.
    · * Chromatic aberration is not corrected.
    · * Transmission loss of about 20% occurs due to lens surface reflection (4%).
