· The fundamental difference between ordinary wire mesh (wire mesh with square openings) and filter wire mesh is that the horizontal wires of the filter wire mesh are in close contact with each other and space is not visible on a plane surface (zero open).
· Therefore, porosity of the filter metal mesh cannot be measured accurately.
· Various types of filter metal mesh allow estimation of filtration pores through the relationship of flow rate and pressure drop, and they can be compared and estimated based on characteristics of their particle collection.
· Determines the absolute value of fine particles collected (usually indicated in microns) by measuring the maximum bubble pressure direction (JIS B 8356) with the filter metal mesh filtration pores.
