[Features]
· GN-311 is a coated arc welding electrode for cast iron use that uses graphite-based with a 36%Ni-Fe cladded core wire, and shows none of the rod scorching associated with general alloy core wires.
· Featuring a composition that improves plating performance after welding by reducing Ni down to 40% or less.
· Welded metal is low Ni rather than typical Fe-Ni, so it is more suited to build up welding of cast iron which requires hardness and also enables surface treatment for materials such as hard Cr plating to be easily performed.
· Welded metal has excellent crack resistance and mechanical properties.
