About Differences From Graduated Cylinder Custom A (1-1959-**)
Graduated Cylinder Custom A (1-1959-**)- JIS (Japan) standard.
- With bumper (bumper: part for preventing tumbling and breakage from falling over).
- Borosilicate glass-1: Indicates Class 1 as set forth in JIS R3505, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is 3.5 × 10-6/°C or less.
Graduated Cylinder Class A (2-569-**)
- DIN (Germany) standard.
- Borosilicate glass 3.3: It is set forth by DIN ISO7991, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is 3.3 × 10-6/°C or less on average.
We cannot make an assertion because there is a difference between the upper limits and averages of JIS and DIN ISO, but 3.3 is somewhat a lower value (resists expansion).
