WEL TIG 316 is a rod for an austenitic stainless steel welding rod and the nickel content is high and also it contains molybdenum, so that it has an excellent corrosion resistance against non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid and dilute sulfuric acid. Also, as creep resistance at high temperature is high, it is used for welding of heat-resistant steel.
