・ SUMIBORON is made by adding special ceramic binder to CBN (cubic boron nitride), which is the main component, and sintering it at ultrahigh pressure and high temperature. It has higher hardness and superior heat resistance compared with conventional tool materials.
・ A single-use type that does not require re-polishing, enabling easy tool management.
・ Multiple SUMIBORON pieces are brazed to 1 insert, resulting in a more reasonable unit price per cutting edge compared with single-use, 1-corner type inserts.
・ G-class precision specification that features all-around polishing. All corners are additionally marked with numbers to simplify keeping track of already-used corners.
