NIIGATASEIKI

Thickness gauge that allows easy measurement of gaps difficult to measure using a measuring instrument.
    [Features]
    · Enables accurate inspection by inserting into fine gaps between two planes which are difficult to measure with a measuring instrument.
    · A measuring instrument indispensable for measuring intervals of pistons and cylinders of automobiles and engines.
    · Leaf width 12.7 mm.
    [Applications]
    · Used for measuring gaps.

    What is thickness gauge

It is also called feeler gauge, like a gauge with bundled leafs (spatula shaped
sheet metal at 0.01mm~1.00mm), for checking the curve and warp.

    Instructions for use

Insert the gauge into the tiny gap between two flat faces, the gap size is previous
one gauge which can not be inserted.
*Set measuring object on a standard flat surface when measuring.

The checking methods of plate’ s warp and square bar’s curve
First, press against the four corners of the plate in order for checking the embossment
of plate. If other corners tend to flow up while pressing one corner, the pressed
corner has a gap in between the flat surface. Insert the thickness gauge into the gap
to determine the size of gap and know how bad it is bend.

    Precaution after use

Remove all dust and fingerprints then appl anti-rust oil.
