Reverse Rotation Stop Relay APR-S

:
OMRON

Uses voltage detection to determine reverse revolution of three-phase motors.
    [Features]
    · A relay which prevents reverse motor operations caused by mis-wiring.
    · The direction of motor revolution is detected as soon as power is applied to the relay. If the power is reversed, the magnetic contactor locks in the open state.
    · The magnetic contactor can also be wired to protect it from being closed in open phase.
    · A small, plug-in relay that needs no adjustment.
    · Uses the voltage detection method so that it can be operated independently of the load current.
    [Applications]
    · For integrating into equipment for which reverse operation caused by faulty wiring could lead to an accident.
    · For equipment which needs to be frequently rewired.

    Operation description
When power lines R → S → T are energized to apply current in sequence to terminals (6) → (4) → (3) there is a positive phase sequence.
Positive phase sequence: built-in relay operation ((5)-(1) carrying current, (5)-(8) not carrying current).
Negative phase sequence: no built-in relay operation ((5)-(1) not carrying current, (5)-(8) carrying current).

    Operation description
When power lines R → S → T are energized to apply current in sequence to terminals (10) → (1) → (3) there is a positive phase sequence.
Positive phase sequence: built-in relay operation ((6)-(7) carrying current, (6)-(8) not carrying current).
Negative phase sequence: no built-in relay operation ((6)-(7) not carrying current, (6)-(8) carrying current).
