Circular Connectors For Panel-To-Wire Connections, Waterproof Type, Soldering Connection Type JL04V Series
JL04V Series are highly reliable circular connectors (wire soldering type) approved by TÜV as connectors satisfying European safety standards and by United Stated standards.
JL04V Series feature IP67 class water and dust proof (in the mated condition) structure, and a protective earth circuit with first-to-make, last-to-break grounding contacts. Available in combinations of 14 types of contact arrangement from 3 to 22 poles,
7 types of shell size (symbols 10SL to 32), and 4 types of contact size (current capacity 13 A to 80 A), with connection between panels and cables possible when combining receptacles and plugs.
They are ideal for use in machine tools, servomotors, robots, and other industrial machines. Note MIL standard MS connectors are compatible with general purpose N/MS-A/B series connections and JA*A series J1 types from MISUMI.
Compliant With European Safety Regulations
A product that reflects the requirements of European standard EN 60204-1: Electrical Equipment of Machines
and complies with connector standard EN61984, having received certification from TUV Rheinland, the EU (European Union) certifying authority.

Compliant with European Safety Standards
Protective Circuit Connection Structure (Pre-Earth Function)
In-built earth terminal that conducts to the external metal shell. First-to-make, last-to-break grounding contacts incorporated
that connect with metallic shell as a safety countermeasure and to create protective earth circuit.

Structural Diagram
IP67 Protection Class Waterproof And Dustproof Structure
An environment-resistant structure that prevents water, oil, dust, etc. from entering from the outside when mated, thanks to its IP67 class waterproof and dustproof capabilities. Fitted with a synthetic rubber insulator on the front surface of the receptacle (2E type).
The partner plug features synthetic rubber gaskets in the receptacle shell connectors. Additionally, the end bell has a seamless cylindrical structure.
2E type receptacles have water- and dust-proof characteristics, even when not mated. (Air pressure 2.9 × 104 Pa (0.3 kgf/cm2), 1 minute)
*"IP67" is a protection grade in accordance with IEC standard (IEC 529).
Four Plug Types
Straight, right angle, low-profile right angle, and standalone block (using conduits) types of cable-side plugs, allowing users to choose a type to suit mounting and environmental conditions.
The right angle and low-profile right angle types allow the end bell to be fixed in position at the user's discretion, and offers freedom in the angle that the cable is pulled in.
Strengthened Insulation Structure
The 20-18 and 28-11 contact arrangements offer a strengthened insulation structure that allows high voltages and low voltages to be used together.

Contact Arrangement『28-11』
Incorrect Fitting Prevention Mechanism
Mating of receptacles and plugs is achieved by first assembling a solid metal shell, and then inserting a pin contact into the socket contact.
The assembly section of the metal shell features a guide key and key groove, guiding the key to ensure correct orientation when mating. This allows firm, safe mating without placing too much stress directly on the contacts or insulators.

Guide Key and Key Groove
Insert Angle Change
When using several connectors of the same size and same contact arrangement, the shell key position can be altered so that only connectors with the same angle are connected.
Compatible With MS Connectors
Compatible with MIL-standard MS connectors and N/MS-A/B series connectors (general purpose and non-waterproof types).
