    Latch-type round connectors mainly for audio equipment. (Usually known as Cannon connectors.)

    [Features]
    · There is the HA16 type with its simple and smart streamlined design that puts the cable clamp inside the plug connector, and the HA216 and HA316 types that place the cable clamp on the outside. Select the type that best suits your equipment.
    · Due to the shrinking size of devices, there are four different sizes of connector receptacles to suit the area where your device is installed.
    · For the three-pin type, there are four interlocking types to choose from.
    · There are two types of plug receptacle lock release levers to choose from. The conventional push type, and the more convenient down type (which releases by pushing down on the lever).
    · Select your connector depending on usage. The receptacle-side connector comes in either a solder type or a circuit board DIP type.
    · In addition, the circuit board DIP type can be mounted inside the device, for even easier ease of connection.

    Usage Precautions for Receptacle Side

    If heat shrink tubing is applied to the solder terminating section for insulation purposes, overheating could reduce the torque of the screw tightness.

    Such overheating may result in loosening and possible loss of the screw. Be sure to confirm that a minimum torque of at least 0.1 N·m is obtained after termination.

    If a torque of at least 0.1 N·m cannot be achieved, the screw should be tightened to between 0.3 and 0.4 N·m.
