Usage Method
■ Installation method for synchronous belt drive
(1)Turn off the power, remove the protective cover, loosen the motor mounting bolts, and move the motor so that the belt is sufficiently slack. The belt should be easy to remove without prying—never pry the belt off.
(2)Remove the old belt and check for abnormal wear. Excessive wear may indicate a problem with the design or maintenance of the drive system.
(3)Select an appropriate belt for replacement.
(4)Clean the belt and pulley by wiping them with a cloth dampened with a small amount of non-volatile liquid. It is not advisable to soak the belt in cleaning solution or scrub it with cleaning agents. To remove grease, do not use sandpaper or scrape with sharp objects. The belt must be kept dry before installation and use.
(5)Check the pulley for abnormal wear or cracks. If there is excessive wear, the pulley must be replaced.
(6)Check whether the pulleys are properly aligned. Proper alignment of the pulleys is especially critical for the operation of timing belts and timing belt drive systems.

(7)Check the other components of the drive system, such as the alignment, durability, and lubrication of bearings and bushings.
(8)Install the new belt onto the pulley. Never pry or use excessive force.
(9)Adjust the center distance of the drive until the tension tester indicates the proper belt tension. Rotate the drive pulley by hand several times. Recheck the tension.
(10)Tighten the motor mounting bolts and correct the torque. Since any change in the center distance during operation will result in poor belt performance, be sure all drive components are securely tightened.
(11)Start the device and observe the belt performance. Check for abnormal vibrations and listen carefully for any unusual noises. It is best to turn off the machine and check the condition of the bearings and motor. If it feels too hot to the touch, the belt may be too tight, the bearings may be misaligned, or the lubrication may be inadequate, among other issues.
Precautions
(1) Do not bend the belt forcefully.
Do not forcefully bend the belt, as it may break easily.

(2) Do not use in environments where the belt is in direct contact with water, solvents, oil, acids, alkalis, ultraviolet rays, ozone, etc.

(3) Avoid using or storing in extremely high or low temperatures or humid environments that exceed the recommended operating temperature range.
(4) When installing, maintaining, or inspecting, be sure to disconnect the power supply and confirm that the machine has come to a complete stop before starting any work.
(5) If there is a possibility that foreign objects may become caught, be sure to install a protective cover.
