How does the strength class (10.9/12.9/A2-70) affect the screw’s performance?

Class 10.9: This class is made of alloy steel, quenched and tempered, with a minimum tensile strength of 1040 MPa, making it suitable for heavy machinery, structural applications. Class 12.9: This is a high-strength class, also made of alloy steel and quenched and tempered, with a minimum tensile strength of 1220 MPa, it suitable for critical applications requiring extreme strength. Class A2-70: This stainless-steel class has a higher tensile strength of 700 MPa compared to A2-50, providing greater mechanical strength while maintaining good corrosion resistance, suitable for more demanding applications. Each strength grade should be selected according to specific applications and environmental conditions. Choosing the appropriate strength grade allows the bolt to perform optimally and ensures safety.
